As a part of our legal services to our clients, we may be required or need to disclose information about you to third parties such as our clients who appoint us to carry out legal services which involves your Personal Data, law enforcement agencies (such as the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Companies Commission of Malaysia), companies and/or organisations that assist us in processing and/or otherwise fulfilling transactions and providing you or our clients with legal services, our business associates and other parties for purposes that are related to our purpose of collecting and using your Personal Data, subject at all times to any laws (including regulations, guidelines and/or by-laws) applicable to our Firm.

You should quote your name, address and phone/account number and provide brief details of the information you want a copy of in any such request, and we will charge you a nominal processing fee permitted by the law to help us defray administration costs.
However, we may have to withhold access to your Personal Data in certain situations, for example when we are unable to confirm your identity or where information requested for is of a confidential commercial nature or in the event we receive repeated requests for the same information. Nevertheless, we will notify you in writing the reasons for not being able to accede to your request.

This obligation is a condition to the provision of legal services or processing of your application for employment.
In the event you may need to provide us with Personal Data of third parties (for example about your spouse or children or where you are the designated person in charge of an organisation or company to deal with us), you confirm that you (i) have obtained the consent of the individual concerned or are otherwise entitled to provide us with their Personal Data for our use in accordance herewith; and (ii) have informed such individual to read this Privacy Policy at our website at www.lxchiah.com or otherwise made available to such individual upon request to our PDPA Compliance Officer at the contact details set out below.
For us to provide our legal services to you, our Firm may have to transfer your Personal Data outside of Malaysia if our clients or business associates who are involved in the provision of legal or any related services are located outside Malaysia or where you are outside Malaysia and require our legal services. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the security of the transfer of Personal Data.
